Aquarian’s Classic Clear, also known as CC, is a medium-weight, single-ply clear drumhead that can be used as a batter or resonant head for any drum.

Like all Aquarian drumheads, the CC model uses Aquarian’s Sound Curve collar design to allow the bearing edge to find its proper place in the curve and help tune any drum faster and easier. Aquarian’s Safe-T-Lok hoop and Nu-Brite drumhead film allow the drum to sing and make the Classic Clear the perfect resonant head for any tom-tom.

Like the batter head, the 10-mil crystal-clear Nu-Brite drumhead film produces a very open sound with plenty of attack and musical sustain. When used as a backing or resonant head, the CC resonates with a warm, clean, and choke-free response.

A note on resonant (bottom) heads: The resonant bottom head is often overlooked, but it has a significant effect on the drum’s overall tone. A poorly made or poorly tuned bottom head will rob a great drum of all its tone. Spend time getting to know your resonant side drum head and you will greatly improve the overall sound and performance of your drum.
