Fast response and easy color. This high-performance backbore can add many layers of depth to your sound in settings from orchestral, solo and commercial playing. Throat options ranging from #27-#22.

N backbore:

Even and consistent throughout all registers and dynamics, the N backbore allows for steady and balanced playing. Although appropriate for most styles of playing, it works especially well for the rotary trumpet and for repertoire of the classical period. Throat options ranging from #27-#22.

S Taper:

S “soloist” taper is an option for any Carp backbore. The unique taper helps produce a faster response and upper overtones that many trumpet soloists are looking for in their performances.
