Bájoc Trügelphone

The Bájoc Trügelphone trumpet mouthpiece is a hybrid design of the Bájoc Solo
Flügelhorn mouthpiece made to produce a “fluffy” sound quality while playing the trumpet. The main goal behind this new design was to create a full yet distant sound on the trumpet while maintaining good response and intonation throughout the entire range of the instrument. The Bájoc Trügelphone is purposed well for players who are playing during more intimate music settings or even parts written for off-stage playing, such as Gustav Mahler’s post horn solo in his Symphony No. 3 in D minor, or Frank Ticheli’s trumpet solo in his An American Elegy. It is also a favorite among mellophone players who seek to have a denser core to their sound while maintaining a good tonal response in both the lower and upper register of the mellophone.
