The Emperor SMT Clear bass drum head is a pre-damped design featuring Sub Muffl technology. It is constructed with two layers of 7 mil and 5 mil clear film and an externally mounted damping profile with free-floating acoustic foam. It allows the drum head and shell to maintain full sound characteristics with additional attack and low frequencies. SMT technology allows for a wide tonal spectrum of tuning ranges with controlled high and mid frequencies along with deep, powerful bass tones.
