The M series of Studio Master mouthpieces are the longest of the Studio Master line in terms of overall length as well as the deepest.

The VM Model has the longest overall length in the Studio Master Series. We arrived at this particular length from observing this particular trait among mouthpieces belonging to many lead players who had received their mouthpieces as ‘hand me downs’ from prominent teachers and mentors.  This extra shortness, combined with a #27 bore (.144 or 3.65mm) and a large back bore make this model, and it’s somewhat shallower counterpart the VMS model, some of the most successful ‘crossover’ pieces around.
